Story: The Cursed Mercenaries adds a lore-friendly backstory about Leviathan, a mercenary group doomed by an ancient curse. Told through personal journals, the tale follows their descent into madness after trying to break the very curse they unleashed.

My Role
As the sole designer and contributor for the Cursed Mercenaries mod, I was responsible for:
Designing and creating the Blackmire dungeon, ensuring the layout supported the narrative and quest progression
Developing all 5 NPCs, scripting interactions, and behavior to drive the quest
Creating and scripting the core quest, guiding players through the dungeon to uncover the fate of its former inhabitants
Introducing new content, including:
A new weapon (with upgrade options)
4 new books (1 letter and 3 journals)
4 keys
Integrating all content seamlessly with Vanilla/Dawnguard assets
All aspects of world-building, storytelling, scripting, and asset integration to deliver a cohesive and engaging gameplay experience

Meet the Members of Leviathan
Steve Giancrusher
Steve had earned the moniker “Giantcrusher” by fighting a Giant (who was later named Robert) with his bare fist. This giant would later become a friend who would bestow Steve with his club.
Hilda Frostbitten
Hilda earned the moniker “Frostbitten” by specializing in Frost magic to such an extreme her skin turned blue (in truth she was a great alchemist whose overexposure to many potions led her skin to change).
Lyall Shieldbreaker
Lyall earned his moniker “Shieldbreaker” from an encounter with a Breton Knight in which in his werewolf form he shattered a tower shield in one blow (in truth Lyall was born into a clan of werewolves which is where he earned much strength. When he shattered the knight’s shield, he had a strength-enhancing spell cast on him and Steve had already cracked the shield).
